We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing team and help shape the future of fleet management technology with FleetOps.

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer at FleetOps, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining high-quality, responsive UI components for our fleet management platform
  • Collaborating with our product team to implement intuitive interfaces for fleet managers, dispatchers, and drivers
  • Developing mobile-optimized experiences for our driver-facing applications
  • Optimizing application performance for real-time fleet tracking and compliance reporting
  • Mentoring junior developers and contributing to our engineering culture
  • Working with our Go and Python backend teams to integrate frontend experiences

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: SvelteKit, TypeScript, TailwindCSS
  • Backend: Go (primary), Python (analytics/AI features)
  • Database: PostgreSQL via Supabase
  • Infrastructure: Cloud-hosted with CI/CD automation
  • Tools: Git, Docker, modern frontend build tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development
  • Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS
  • Experience with SvelteKit, Svelte, or similar modern frontend frameworks
  • Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Experience working with REST APIs and real-time data
  • Understanding of transportation/logistics industry challenges (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fleet management or transportation software
  • Knowledge of mapping libraries and geolocation features
  • Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
  • Understanding of backend technologies (Go, Python)
  • Contributions to open source projects
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
